Iran will participate within the World Cup and their video games can be performed in the USA as scheduled, says Fifa president Gianni Infantino.
There was ungoing uncertainty over their participation within the match due to the US-Israel battle with Iran.
And the Iranian soccer federation stated earlier this month it was “negotiating” with Fifa to relocate the nation’s World Cup matches from the US to Mexico.
“Iran can be on the World Cup,” Infantino advised AFP. “We’re delighted as a result of they seem to be a very, very robust staff, I am very blissful.
“The matches can be performed the place they’re presupposed to be, based on the draw.”
Iran are as a result of face New Zealand and Belgium in Los Angeles on 15 and 21 June respectively, and Egypt in Seattle on 26 June.
The match, which begins on 11 June, is being hosted by the US, Canada and Mexico.
Mexican President Claudia Sheinbaum stated her nation was ready to host Iran’s matches if wanted however Infantino, who attended Iran’s 5-0 pleasant win in opposition to Costa Rica in Turkey on Tuesday, insisted they’d take part within the match as deliberate.
“I’ve seen the staff, I’ve spoken to the gamers and the coach, so the whole lot is okay,” he insisted.
