OMDAI Sport Mexico revealed a launch on Tuesday analysing the incident, backing its case with an in-depth description and visible proof together with quite a few screenshots from Lawson’s onboard digicam.

OMDAI Sport Mexico argued that Lawson didn’t decelerate sufficiently beneath the double yellow flag that was waved because of the marshals’ presence on the monitor.

“When analysing the sequence from the digicam onboard the automotive, it may be seen that driver Liam Lawson, as he approaches Flip 1, begins to show to take the racing line, at which level the presence of the monitor marshals is clearly seen as they perform their intervention procedures to gather the items that had been left behind because of the earlier contact,” the assertion reads.

“The proximity of the automotive to the work space exhibits that the monitor marshals have been nonetheless energetic inside the dangerous space, performing cleansing and security duties on the circuit.

“I truthfully could not consider what I used to be seeing,” the New Zealander stated. “I obtained to Flip 1 and there have been two dudes simply working throughout the monitor. And I almost hit one in every of them. Truthfully, it was so harmful.

“Clearly, there’s been a miscommunication someplace, however I’ve by no means skilled that earlier than, I’ve solely seen that previously. It is fairly unacceptable.
