Crimson Bull driver Isack Hadjar will return at this week’s Azerbaijan Grand Prix after lacking the previous three races with a wrist damage.
The 21-year-old Frenchman was replaced by New Zealand’s Liam Lawson for races within the Netherlands, Monza and Madrid after injuring his wrist whereas boxing.
In assertion, Crimson Bull stated Hadjar has made a “full restoration” and can substitute Lawson for the Grand Prix in Baku, which runs from 24-26 September.
“The crew want to sincerely thank Liam for his professionalism, dedication and laborious work over the previous three races,” Crimson Bull added.
“Stepping in below difficult circumstances, he delivered some spectacular performances and made a helpful contribution to the crew.”
Lawson, 24, completed seventh in Zandvoort and sixth in Madrid however failed to attain a degree at Monza after coming 14th.
After being changed by Hadjar, Lawson will return to Crimson Bull’s junior crew Racing Bulls.
Hadjar, who will return to motion alongside four-time world champion Max Verstappen, is eighth within the drivers’ standings having scored 71 factors this season.
