Alpine has appointed Mike Elliott as chief technical officer of its System 1 crew, additional bolstering the Enstone-based crew’s technical construction.
Alpine introduced on Thursday that Elliott will “oversee the technical and engineering capabilities on the crew’s manufacturing unit at Enstone” in what’s a newly created place as CTO.
For the 52-year-old Briton, it presents a return to Enstone after serving because the crew’s principal aerodynamicist in its Renault and Lotus days.
