Athletic Membership have appointed German boss Edin Terzic as their new head coach.
The previous Borussia Dortmund coach has agreed a two-year contract and is scheduled to be offered by the Bilbao-based membership initially of subsequent season.
The 43-year-old will substitute Ernesto Valverde, who mentioned in March that he would depart Athletic Membership this summer season after 4 years in cost.
Andoni Iraola had been linked with a return to his former membership after saying he’ll depart his position as Bournemouth supervisor this summer season.
Terzic has had two spells in command of Dortmund, profitable the German Cup in 2021, narrowly lacking out on the Bundesliga title in 2023 and reaching the Champions League closing in 2024.
He asked to leave Dortmund shortly after shedding 2-0 to Actual Madrid at Wembley and was but to renew his managerial profession.
Terzic had beforehand been Slaven Bilic’s assistant at Turkish membership Besiktas and Premier League facet West Ham.
