The reshuffle, masterminded by Stella, was aimed toward placing senior leaders in the three areas which outline F1 automotive efficiency – aerodynamics, efficiency and engineering.
Following Sanchez’s departure, Neil Houldley, who had been made a deputy technical director for engineering, has been made technical director.
Peter Prodromou stays as technical director for aerodynamics.
Stella mentioned: “Following considerate discussions between David Sanchez and the workforce management, the mutual determination has been taken for David to depart the workforce.
“Upon our joint reflection, it grew to become obvious that the position, tasks, and ambitions related to David’s place didn’t align with our authentic expectations when he agreed to hitch us in February 2023.
