England midfielder Katie Zelem has signed for US aspect Angel Metropolis following her departure from Manchester United.
Zelem joined United once they relaunched their ladies’s staff in 2018 and was membership captain from the 2019-20 marketing campaign and helped them to raise final season’s FA Cup.
She made 161 appearances in all competitions for the membership and scored 32 objectives, however left United when her contract expired in June.
The 28-year-old mentioned her transfer to the Nationwide Ladies’s Soccer League (NWSL) aspect on a two-year deal is an “thrilling new problem”.
