South Korea’s Hyo-Joo Kim received the Ford Championship in a play-off as England’s Charley Hull did not mount a problem on the ultimate day in Arizona.
Kim beat American Lilia Vu on the primary further gap to assert her seventh LPGA title after they completed tied on 22 below par at Whirlwind Golf Membership’s Cattail Course.
Hull, who went into the ultimate spherical in second place – two pictures behind chief Vu – completed tied for eleventh on 17 below after carding a one-under 71, her worst rating of the event.
Kim started the day 4 pictures off the lead, however hit 9 birdies in a 64 to reel in Vu, who went spherical in 68.
