Ben Raine has agreed a brand new three-year contract to stay with Durham till the top of the 2027 county season.
Sunderland-born Raine got here by way of Durham’s academy earlier than a spell at Leicestershire and a return to Chester-le-Avenue in 2019.
The seam-bowling all-rounder was the main wicket-taker in Division Two in 2023 with 60 as Durham gained the title.
Raine backed that up final summer season, averaging 31 with the bat and slightly below 30 with the ball because the membership completed fifth on their top-flight return.
