Welsh Rugby Union member golf equipment have voted overwhelmingly in favour of governance reforms.
Of the 252 votes forged, solely seven didn’t vote in favour, which means the 75 per cent majority wanted was comfortably exceeded.
The WRU will now appoint an impartial non-executive director as chair and recruit two additional impartial representatives to their 12-person board.
The plan is for no less than 5 of the administrators to be ladies. Interim chief government Nigel Walker stated: ‘That is just the start of a journey which is able to see the belief and religion of a nation in Welsh rugby restored and revitalised.’
