On the face of it, Esteban Ocon’s second-place end within the Brazilian Grand Prix is perhaps doing quite a lot of heavy lifting right here, nevertheless it’s simple to miss a handful of different spectacular moments in a tough closing season with Alpine.
Ocon led a good portion of that Interlagos race, and this efficiency was supplemented with tenth in Miami – with a still-awful automotive – and ninth on the Belgian GP after beating team-mate Pierre Gasly handily.
Alpine’s consideration shifted to Gasly when Ocon’s cut up with the group was declared for 2025, which eventually happened a race early when Jack Doohan made his debut within the Abu Dhabi season finale.
