Seam-bowler Andy Gorvin will lead Glamorgan within the 2026 Metro Financial institution One-Day Cup (ODC).
The 28-year-old helped the Welsh county win the competitors in his debut 2021 season and in 2024, and director of cricket Mark Wallace hailed Gorvin as “some of the widespread and revered members of the squad”.
Wallace added: “With a number of gamers away at The Hundred the competitors permits us to present alternatives to completely different gamers.”
Gorvin mentioned: “We have now an thrilling crop of youthful gamers coming by, and along with some extra skilled heads we wish to construct on performances from the opposite codecs this season and within the ODC over the previous couple of years.”
The Winchester-born participant says Glamorgan “cannot wait to get going” after they host Sussex on the Gnoll, Neath on Wednesday, 22 July.
David Harrison will reprise the function he held in 2021 by being Glamorgan coach for the 50-over competitors.
