Jersey and Guernsey will face one another within the first spherical of qualifying for the 2028 T20 World Cup.
The Channel Island sides have been drawn to play in Qualifier A in Cyprus between 16 and 23 Could, with the winners facet progressing to the ultimate spherical of European qualification.
For the primary time ever, each groups reached the ultimate qualifier for the 2026 T20 World Cup earlier this summer season.
Jersey – who’ve made ultimate qualification for every of the final 5 T20 World Cups – beat first-time qualifiers Guernsey by 22 runs once they met within the Netherlands in July.
The island sides have been drawn alongside Austria, Croatia, Cyprus, France, Malta, Slovenia, Sweden and Switzerland in Qualifier A.
Scotland, who Jersey beat in the summer, are in Qualifier B being hosted by Denmark subsequent July, whereas Qualifier C takes place in Finland in August.
The three group winners will progress to a spherical in opposition to the European sides that certified for the 2026 T20 World Cup, Italy, Eire and the Netherlands.
